At Land & Home Handyman, we’re passionate about providing reliable, quality craftsmanship to our community. Our founder, Matt McElveen, brings a lifetime of experience and dedication to every project he undertakes.

 

Born and raised in Bulloch County, Matt’s roots run deep in the local community. After graduating from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Construction Management, he gained valuable experience in various roles within the construction industry. During the economic downturn of 2008, Matt expanded his horizons, moving to Qatar to continue his construction career. Despite the opportunities abroad, he felt the call to return home and work on his family’s farm.

 

While farming brought Matt a sense of fulfillment, his passion for building and fixing never waned. In 2023, he made the decision to pursue his long-standing passion and dedicate himself to handyman work full-time, founding Land & Home Handyman. His mission is simple: to deliver exceptional service and craftsmanship that his neighbors can trust.

 

Today, Matt lives in Bulloch County with his wife, Valerie, and their two children, Cora June and Ezra. When he’s not working on a project, you’ll likely find him gardening, enjoying the outdoors, playing guitar, and spending quality time with his family.
